Hoops named Championship football programme of the year

ProgrammeMaster has finished 2016 with high acclaim after QPR’s ‘Hoops’ publication was crowned the Championship programme of the season.

The accolade, awarded by ‘Programme Monthly’, has now been taken out by the London-based publisher for the second year running after Fulham’s match-day publication took out the 2015 honour.

In fact, the company went one better this season by taking out the top two positions, with the Whites’ publication named the first runner up for 2016.

ProgrammeMaster’s Managing Director, Lee Berry, took great pride in the industry honours.

“We have an incredibly talented team who are dedicated towards creating and distributing the very best publications in the sports industry,” he stated.

“QPR have been a great club to work with and much of the credit must go to their internal team, in particular the Hoops’ programme editor, Matt Webb.”

“Our ultimate goal is to surpass the expectations of our clients and their supporters, however receiving such acknowledge from our industry peers is a fantastic bonus.”

Hoops came out on top thanks to the programme’s clean and user-friendly layout in addition to it’s engaging feature sections around the club’s history, opposition teams and community opinions; provided to QPR fans for just £3 following a price reduction over the summer.

Fulham was able to maintain its credentials as one of the Championship’s best programmes with a low proportion of ad pages, excellent design, informative match-day coverage and an exceptionally in-depth visitor section.
