This Sunday sees the NFL’s 2019 London Series matches get underway as the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bears go head-to-head, on what will be an historic occasion.
It will be the first time an NFL match will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the first venue built to host American Football outside of North America, and the official gameday programme is the perfect souvenir to mark the occasion.
The 116-page publication will be as packed as the stands on Sunday, with all the key personnel giving their thoughts on the big matchup. There are interviews with heads coaches John Gruden and Matt Nagy, quarterbacks Derek Carr and Mitchell Trubisky as well as the likes of Tahir Whitehead and Khalil Mack, plus all the information you need on the other players on show in north London.
This year’s programmes will be extra special, as each edition will include a supplement celebrating NFL100 – the centenary of the league.
This is a look back at some of the greatest teams to have ever played the game, as well as reflecting on some of the best players to pull on the pads and take to the gridiron.
There will also be reflections on the 12-year history of the London Series matches, as well as special features on some of the most loved teams in the UK, such as the 1985 Chicago Bears and the London Monarchs.
All four issues combined will provide fans with a detailed overview of the history of the NFL, and a cherished memento for years to come.
The ‘Inside the Game’ section also provides plenty of content for neutral supporters, including a chat with England and Spurs striker Harry Kane about his love of NFL, a look back at the season so far and a review of this summer’s Hard Knocks documentary series.
