In their return to the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, 14th July against Brondby IF, Hibernian FC launched their new-look match programmes for the 2016 / 2017 season.
Designed and published by ProgrammeMaster, the publication was revamped after an internal club survey was undertaken to understand what the supporters wished to change about their match programme.
A resulting tender process took place in search of a publisher who could effectively meet the needs of Hibernian supporters and the club’s Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations, Greig Mailer, was pleased with the outcome.
“ProgrammeMaster caught our attention with their proposal, their track record and their desire to work with Hibernian,” he said.
“We have worked hard through the summer to make the changes and we are really proud of the new expanded format.
“I would like to thank the supporters who participated in the survey process – it was really important for us to engage with the fans at the start of the process and listen to their feedback.”
Lee Berry, Managing Director of ProgrammeMaster, shared the club’s enthusiasm, expanding the company’s publications into the Scottish Championship.
“We are excited at the prospect of working with Hibernian Football Club, an organisation steeped in rich history and comprising of some of the most passionate football fans,” he stated.
“As the official match-day publisher for the Scottish Professional Football League, we have relished our experience within Scottish football and leaped at the opportunity to expand our quality publications to the Hibernian supporters.”
The season’s publication has now expanded in length and will be priced at £3, with the front cover design being inspired by programmes from the 1950’s era, and the retro feel is incorporated throughout the rest of the pages.
All Hibernian programmes for the coming season will be available prior to the match or can alternatively be purchased online at programmemaster.com.
