Betfred Scottish League Cup final programme available online

This weekend sees the first Old Firm final since 2011 take place as Rangers meet Celtic at Hampden Park in the Betfred Cup final, and the official matchday programme is certainly one that befits the occasion.

The 84-page publication has everything fans of either of the Glasgow giants need to know about the big game, including the thoughts of Steven Gerrard who aims to get his hands on his first piece of managerial silverware, as well as Neil Lennon as his Hoops side try to win their fourth-straight League Cup.

Two of the key players on Sunday also chat to the official programme, who have polar opposite experiences of cup finals. Jermain Defoe reveals his excitement of remarkably appearing in his first, while James Forrest is looking to score in a fourth League Cup showpiece.

As with any game between the two old foes, it would be remiss not to look back on their classic clashes with all of their past League Cup triumphs highlighted, as well as crunch meetings between the pair. David Weir looks back on a famous Gers win back in 2010/11, while Mark Wilson reflects on Celtic’s 2008/09 victory over their city rivals.

There is also a look back at when Gerrard and Lennon’s paths crossed as players, plus all the usual facts, stats and player bios to solve your pre and post-match arguments!

All this can be yours for just £5, with copies available around Hampden Park on matchday, or if you can’t get to the game you can still get your copy via our online shop.

We are also running a special offer, whereby if you purchase a final programme online, you can add a semi-final programme from this season’s competition to your basket for just £2.50 by entering the discount code SPFLFINAL19.

Purchase your Scottish League Cup semi-final programmes

This weekend sees the Scottish League Cup reach crunch time as four of the country’s biggest clubs do battle for a spot in December’s final at Hampden Park, and ProgrammeMaster have produced two cracking programmes ahead of the games between Hibernian and Celtic, and Rangers and Hearts.

Each semi-final has its own 84-page publication, detailing how the four clubs reached this stage of the competition and interviewing the key protagonists. Paul Heckingbottom and Chris Maxwell talk all things Hibs, while Neil Lennon and Ryan Christie give Celtic’s point of view as they aim to retain their crown.

Meanwhile, Gary McAllister and Brandon Barker give a Rangers perspective ahead of their meeting with the Jam Tarts in Sunday’s edition, and Craig Levein and Uche Ikpeazu respond.

There is also historical content galore, looking back on the quartet’s past triumphs in the competition and previous meetings, facts and figures and a look back at some classic programmes from yesteryear, making this the perfect accompaniment to what fans hope will be a memorable matchday and a step closer to cup glory.

Each edition costs just £5 and is available outside Hampden Park on the specific matchdays, or you can purchase your copy in advance from our online shop and have it delivered to your door.
